Band Tips
01Treat your band like a business and know what you want to do with it. Drawing up a business plan is what the big boys do. Don’t just say you want to “make it”. Make what???
02Find someone outside of the band, like me (hint-hint), who you trust, and start developing your songs. An outside opinion will always provide fresh ideas that you didn’t think of.
About Me
For those of you who do not know, I’m a founding member of the band OLEANDER.
Mid-Level Success Story of the Century.
From 1999 –2004, I wrote and recorded three major label albums including the
#1 hit single
“Why I’m here” and the top 10 singles “I
walk alone”, “Are you
there”, and “Hands off the
wheel”.
We have been featured in many major motion pictures including SCARY MOVIE, AMERICAN PIE, AMERICAN PIE 2, and SPIDERMAN.
We were the second band to perform at the now infamous WOODSTOCK “99. James Brown opened for us!!!
Other notable tours include stints with Bob Dylan, The Black Crowes, Willie Nelson, Nickleback, Creed, Staind, Collective Soul, and my personal favorite. . Candlebox. We’ve had the good fortune of sharing the biggest stages with some of the biggest bands of all time (argue among yourselves).
The Bottom line is . . . . We’ve toured all over the world and we’ve sold over a million records.
Very good times. . .in retrospect.

We took the last four years off so that we could spend time with our families being sons, husbands, and fathers, instead of just professional musicians. Very, Very good times. .
